The Project
Taking the original concept to construct a proprietary glass extension, we worked with the client to develop a bespoke addition to the building providing a seamless transition from kitchen to dining area to garden.
The original gable wall was completely removed and a steel frame provided to enable the new structure to have a vaulted ceiling to the full height of the extension and full height glazing to the new gable wall allowing the light to stream in and maximising the view of the garden.
James Lockyer Associates provided a complete service from securing planning permission, site investigations to determine the ground conditions and form of construction of the three storey building, and detailed building regulations drawings for construction.
