The Project
After a fire at the former Homebase store located on the edge of the town, we were asked to carry out a structural inspection of the steel frame. It was discovered that around a third of the steelwork to the roof was badly damaged and required replacement. Internal fixtures and fittings were also badly damaged and required replacement.
The fire damaged parts of the building were removed and an internal strip out of all building services and finishes was carried out throughout the retail area, warehouse and offices.
The whole building was reinstated including new entrance and roller shutter doors and external cladding.
