The Project
James Lockyer Associates were originally approached to undertake investigative works to this former fisherman’s cottage after it appeared that the gable wall may have been affected by movement. This led to our involvement in an ambitious renovation scheme, involving the opening up of the property internally to provide a more generous living space, and the conversion of a post-war shed into guest quarters.
From interpreting the Client’s brief and obtaining Planning and Building Regulations approvals, to overseeing the works on site, as well as the geotechnical investigations and structural design, this project demonstrates our holistic approach to building design and renovation.
