CASE STUDY:

Queen Street, Newton Abbott, Devon

Working in conjunction with Goldhart Estates, Architects Design Group and Drayton Studio Design, we undertook the structural design works and provided support and advice during the construction phase for the extensive commercial development of this site in Newton Abbot.

Works included both renovation of existing properties, extension and new build.

Working again with Goldhart Estates, Architects Design Group and Drayton Studio Design in the redevelopment of a sea front cinema, involving the addition of two storeys to the existing building for penthouse accommodation.

A residential development of timber framed dwellings in keeping with the existing streetscape on a steeply sloping site requiring diaphragm retaining walls incorporated with the building substructure.

This project involved conversion of a hotel into flats.

We provided structural design and support to the developer for the building alterations and for these retaining walls and parking area over new accommodation units at the rear of the site.
